Shipping times

How long will it take before I receive my stack?

Every Veleza Lab. item is hand-poured in small batches to ensure architectural precision. Processing time: Please allow 2–3 working days to prepare and pack your order. Standard shipping: After dispatch, delivery within the EU typically takes 3–5 working days. Tracking: You will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number as soon as your candles leave our studio.

How do I burn the stackable rings safely?

Because Veleza Lab rings are "open" sculptural candles, they behave differently from traditional candles in a glass. Follow these essential guidelines for a beautiful and safe experience:

  • The Golden Rule: Use a coaster. Never light the candle rings directly on furniture. Always place your stack on a flat, heat-resistant surface or tray (ceramic, glass, or marble) to catch wax drips or "runs" that may occur during the sculptural melting process.
  • Trim the wick (every time): Trim the wick to 5 mm before lighting. A wick that is too long creates a large, flickering flame that can cause the wax to melt too quickly and the stack to collapse.
  • The "3-Rings" Rule: Although you can stack the candle as high as you like for decorative purposes, we recommend burning no more than 3 rings at a time. Extinguish the flame afterward, let the wax cool, and replenish the stack if necessary. This preserves the structural integrity of the large candle.
  • Location is crucial: Keep your burning stack away from drafts, ceiling fans, and air currents. Sudden gusts can cause the flame to lean, leading to uneven melting and tunneling through the side of the ring.
  • Never leave unattended: This is an interactive artwork. Always keep the burning candle in sight. Extinguish the flame before leaving the room or going to sleep.
  • Safe distance: Keep your candle at least 10 cm away from other objects and never burn it near flammable materials (curtains, books, or dried flowers). When to stop. Extinguish the candle when only 1 cm of wax remains in the bottom ring. This prevents the heat from damaging your coaster or tray.

How do I ensure the best burn and protect my furniture?

Because our rings are sculptural "open" candles (not in a glass), they require some extra attention:

  • The Surface: Always place your stack on a flat, heat-resistant surface or a candle tray to catch any drips of wax.
  • The Wick: Trim the wick to 5 mm before each burn. This prevents an excessively large flame and ensures slower, more even melting.
  • The Stack: Ensure your rings are centered and stacked stably before lighting them. For maximum stability, we recommend burning no more than 3 rings at a time.
  • Cleaning: To remove wax from a hard surface, allow it to cool completely first. You can then gently "pry" the hardened wax off and wipe the spot with a cloth and warm soapy water.
